5000 teachers of Vadodara city extends their support to volunteer as COVID Army

Vadodara district administration is taking various steps to contain the virus in the city and also pre-plans the strategies in case the disease spreads in upcoming months. In one such meeting, 5000 teachers of the city extend their support to volunteer as COVID Army.

OSD Dr. Vinod Rao had a meeting with Shikshak Sangh of Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Teachers of Vadodara District, in the presence of DEO and DPEO Vadodara. All teachers showed their support to help the administration in the fight against Coronavirus.

“All Shikshak Sanghs have offered that 5,000 Teachers will volunteer as COVID Army to support the Health Team especially in Phase 3 starting from 1st June. The Training of Master Trainers will be conducted on 30th April and Training of all 5000 teachers will be done from 1st to 4th of May before the Summer Vacation,” said Rao.
