470 samples negative of Coronavirus out of 744 in Vadodara

250 samples under testing

744 samples are collected from Vadodara city and district by the health department for testing of Coronavirus. As per district health department 470 samples comes out as negative and 250 are under testing. 22 positive cases are under treatment as per standard protocol.

As per details till date 199 samples from SSG, 502 from GMERS Gotri and 43 from private hospitals are collected for testing. After the tests 22 samples comes as positive of Coronavirus consists of 7 from SSG, 14 from Gotri and one patient from private hospital in the city.

Out of the total samples 470 comes as negative of Coronavirus consists of 190 from SSG, 242 Gotri and 38 from private hospitals. Presently 246 from Gotri and four samples from private hospitals are under testing. Two samples were rejected earlier. At present 14 patients (13 in Gotri and one in private hospital) is under treatment as per standard protocol. Six fully recovered and discharged from the hospital and two of the patients died during treatment.

Health teams are involved in mass collection of samples in the city and collected 443 samples from April 5 to 8 for testing.

Talking about four new cases on Thursday, 27 years old Dr. Faizan from R.V. Desai road, 58 years old Mohammad Hanif Pathan, 12 years old Ejaz Sheikh and 16 years old Mohammad Wasim was tested positive of Coronavirus and is under treatment as per standard protocol.
