353 patients from outside Vadodara and other states under treatment for covid in two major government hospitals in city

Officer on Special Duty Officer and Education Secretary Dr. Vinod Rao visited Sayaji Hospital and reviewed the situation. He said 750 patients are admitted here and approximately 500 patients are admitted in Samaras covid Hospital. Thus, about 1250 patients are being treated at both the places.

As many as 201 covid patients from outside Vadodara, including 26 from other states, are undergoing treatment at Sayaji Hospital as on April 28. Giving details, Dr. Vinod Rao said that currently 37 from Mahisagar district, Bharuch 26, Ahmedabad 25, Panchmahal 17, Chhota Udepur 11, Dahod 10, Narmada 8, Anand / Kheda 7, other districts 34 and 26 people from the states are undergoing treatment in the here. Thus, Sayaji Hospital has become a center of treatment for covid patients not only in other districts of Gujarat but also in other states.

Dr. Rao said that similar to Sayaji Hospital, Gotri Hospital is treating 152 patients from outside Vadodara, including neighboring states of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. There are 14 from Ahmedabad, 15 from Anand, 1 from Aravalli, 32 from Bharuch, 15 from Chhotaudepur, 3 from Kheda, 3 from Mehsana, 1 from Mahisagar, 16 from Mahisagar, 06 from Narmada, 30 from Panchmahal, 2 from Rajkot, 9 from Madhya Pradesh and 2 from Rajasthan under treatment there. There are also two patients from Surat and Surendranagar.

Thus, a total of 353 patients from outside Vadodara and other states are being treated for covid in two major government hospitals in the city.
