Bed facility will be increased to 200 in phases, Minister of State Yogesh Patel give instructions to get all the necessary approvals including Fire NOC

Minister of State for Narmada Development Yogesh Patel today in consultation with State BJP General Secretary Bhargav Bhatt visited the Harni based Metro Hospital Campus along with Deputy Municipal Commissioner Dhiren Talpada, Executive Engineer Rajesh Chauhan, Dharmik Dave, Sub Station Fire Officer H.P. Puwar.

In collaboration with Metro Hospital, a 30-bed covid treatment facility will be set up on the first floor in the general ward at an early stage. Not only that, the number of beds in the hospital will be increased to 200 in phases.

The minister added that Metro Hospital currently has an ICU facility with 28 rooms on the second floor and 28 beds on the third floor. In addition the hospital also has the basic facilities and required nursing staff.

Discussions were held with OSD Dr. Vinod Rao and Municipal Commissioner P. Swaroop to set up all the facilities required for the treatment of Corona patients in this hospital. All the necessary facilities will be set up here in a single week, so that the burden on government hospitals will be reduced.

The Minister of State give instructions to the hospital administrator Dr. Rajiv Tyagi to get all the necessary approvals including NOC immediately. Dr. Tyagi briefed the minister about the facilities available at the hospital and said to raised the missing ones.

As part of this, in the coming days, the construction of a tank for storage of liquid oxygen as well as laying of necessary lines to supply oxygen will be completed. It is planned to make this facility operational in the next three to five days.
