For the First time in Gujarat International riders will feature in Night Supercross in Vadodara. The race will be flag off by CM Vijay Rupani and Sports Minister Ishwarsinh Patel. The race will feature 28 riders from various countries and compete to win the 1st edition of Vadodara International Motocross.

The wait for the most awaited supercross event is finally over as Lilleria Group’s Sports division called the Lilleria Motorsports and Aashan Sports & Entertainment Pvt Ltd from Pune, officially announced the launch of the Vadodara International Supercross 2020 (VIS) in association with Baroda Automotive racing.

VIS will be held on the 19th january, 2020 at Venus ground, O.P. road which will attract around 12,000 to 15,000 crowd to witness the Opening Ceremonies, Pit Party, Freestyle Motocross Shows and Action-packed Racing. The race track is indigenously prepared by the promoters and offers to be a mega event which promises to revolutionize the sport of motocross and supercross in India.

The International riders from Russia, South Africa, America, Germany and Scotland will set the tracks on fire along with the top Indian racers for the highest honors. Alina Sheikh the only girl in the race will be centre of attraction in the race. 7 teams, 28 riders will fight for the win and shall get points as per their finish. Winner shall get 25 points a race, followed by 23 Points for second place and 21 points for 3rd place. The total tally of the points will decide the winner and the Team.

The Track length is 500 mtrs which will match international standards and have obstacles like Triple jump, Table top of 150ft, Double jump & whoops. The On track will be managed by Baroda Automotive Racing by Sunil Nigam.

Veer Patel and Eeshan Lokhande former motocross Indian National champion are now promoting Supercross Racing in India.

After Pune Supercross Aashan Sports Takes the Invitational Supercross Concept outside Maharashtra for the First Time and decide to do it in Gujarat. The teams for the VIS 2020 are,

On the occasion, Eeshan Lokhande, former international rider said, “Supercross as sport in India is once again gaining popularity. Pune always has been the mecca of supercross and our endeavor is to carry the legacy forward. The new format promises to excite one and all and would further entertain the crowds which has witnessed constant growth. Today packaging sports event is the need of the hour to grab more eye balls and at the same time keep the people engaged. The main aim is to give people a dose of pulsating racing and entertainment at the same place and at the same time.”

Veer Patel from LLILLERIA GROUP further added, “It’s time to give this sport a better platform in India, winning 2 National Championship in India and having represented India in 2010 & 2011, We plan to step up and LAUCNH the Worlds 1st Franchise & Brand based Supercross Racing League in Pan India in 2021. People in India need a new sport, and nothing is as exciting as Racing. We have been working on the league in the last 2 years to make a platform for the Automobile industry for the Asian market and I feel this league will be able to help all the brands to showcase their product in India and other Asian countries.”

The VIS League is held under the aegis of The Federation of Motor Sports Club of India (FMSCI) and organized under the guidance of the Indian and International Federation rules and regulations.

SX – 1 Group ‘A’ International Pro – Class -1 Foreign motorcycles up to 500cc – 2&4 Stroke.

SX – 2 Group ‘A’ INDIAN Pro Foreign Experts– Class-2 Foreign motorcycles up to 500cc – 2&4 Stroke.

SX – 3 Group ‘C’ Class – 3 INDIAN Intermediate- Foreign motorcycles up to 500cc – 2&4 Stroke.

SX- J Juniors Group “A” Class 4 INDIAN RIDERS Under 12 years upto 250 cc 2&4 Stroke.
