21 blind couples from Mumbai tie the knot in Vadodara and donate blood for the jawans. A mega blood donation drive is also initiated in Vadodara to remember the martyrs where people from every walk of life donate blood for the jawans. The couples also donate blood and start the drive.
Jointly organised by Vallabh Youth Organisation, Chhatra Sansad, Vadodara City Police and Suraksha Setu the mega blood donation drive start at the Vrajdham Aadhyatmik Sankul at Manjalpur. With slogan ‘Let’s Join The Initiative Dedicated to Defence Forced of The Nation’ the drive starts on 17th March where people from every walk of life donate blood for the martyr jawans. Vaishnavacharya Vrajrajkumarji also donate the blood in the noble cause.
Taking a step further to the noble cause newly wed blind couples also join the drive and donate blood. The 21 couple tie the knot and later donate blood to inaugurate the drive. 21 childless Divyangs also bless the couple and make the occasion historic.
The blood donation camp is attended by educational institutes, NGOs, mandals,clubs and also ex army personnel from the city. City based Narhari hospital and Indian Red Cross Society manage the blood donation drive at the Vrajdham compound.
