1600 beds available in 32 private and 8 government hospitals in Vadodara district for Covid 19 treatment

Plans to add 1000 more beds by 1st July

Under the guidance of Dr. Vinod Rao, Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary, the treatment facilities of Covid 19 are being continuously expanded and made accessible. As part of this Vadodara district administration notified the facility of 1600 beds in a total of 40 government and private hospitals in Vadodara city and district as part of the expanded treatment system of Covid 19 which includes existing and newly added beds.

Thus, a total of 1600 beds with access to 725 paid beds in 32 private hospitals and 875 free beds in 8 government hospitals have now become accessible for the treatment of Corona patients. It is also planned to add facility of 1000 more beds by 1st July 2020.
