Under the
guidance of Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agrawal, a total of 17 camps
have been set up in the city district to accommodate the workers coming from
other districts for work. The psychologist and team of doctors in this camp are
testing them and also provide much needed counseling.
In Vadodara city, a total of 1309 labourers are taking shelter in 13 shelters followed by 261 in four-wheelers which takes the number to total 1,570. All of them are being provided essential health services including food by the district administration. All the steps including cleaning, spraying medicines are conducted everyday in the relief camps along with health check up.
They all are
counselled and provide solutions of their queries by the teams to prepare
them mentally in this difficult times.
