Important trains allowed to move on common loop line

Around 10 trains towards Delhi route are affected after three empty wagons of a goods train derailed on down line near Ankleshwer station at 18.37 hrs. Accident Relief Train is reaching the site for the relief work and clear the line. Important trains are allowed to move on common loop line till the down track is clear for rail movement.

Around 18.37 in the evening three empty wagons of a 21 wagons goods train derailed on the down line near Ankleshwar station. The goods train was coming from Taloja Panchanand and heading towards Haryana.

10 trains consists of Sayajinagri express, Ranakpur express, Bandra Bikaner, Nizammudin Garibrath, Bandra Jaipur Superfast, August Kranti, Ahmedabad Passenger, Jamnagar Express, Bhilad Passenger and two Memu are affected in down line (Mumbai to Vadodara) due to the derailment.

As per PRO Khemraj Meena, relief work is already underway to clear the track at the accident site. Common loop line will be used to allow the important trains to move towards there destinations. Top officials already reached the spot to access the situation and review the relief operations at the site.
