Youths seeking jobs in electricity board raised their protest against the new rules of recruitment. The candidates says any graduate can give exam and tries to get the job but the complained make some changes in the rules which is unacceptable. They threaten to intensify their agitation in case the new rules are not cancelled.

The candidates gathered at central library in Mandvi and raised their protest against the new rules. Vimal Prajapati one candidate said Gujarat government recently conduct recruitment drive for the Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited where the rule is that any graduate can give exam. However the rules are changed in the upcoming exams of Dakshin Gujarat and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited and the candidates raised their protest against the same. They demand to retain the same rule and threaten to intensify their agitation.

He further said the students done B.Tech and engineering are not in the list as per new rules and they raised their protest against it. Earlier rule states that any graduate can give exam and everyone is preparing hard for the exams for last one and half years. However due to sudden change or rules they have no option left and protest against it.
