    Devesh Patel get patent in the name of “Boriyavi turmeric”

    A successful farmer from Boriyavi village of Anand has been cultivating turmeric organically and has been exporting it himself at home and abroad. Under the guidance of Anand Agriculture University he obtained a patent as Boriyavi turmeric for his effort.

    On the one hand, you may have heard many cases of not getting affordable prices for crops produced by many farmers in the Corona pandemic. But Deveshbhai Patel of Boriyavi village has earned an excellent income by cultivating organic turmeric with his own expertise.

    As far as Deveshbhai Patel is concerned, he has a degree in computer engineering. The farmer of Boriyavi village has produced turmeric by himself and has made excellent income by making turmeric capsules, Ginger from turmeric powder, turmeric pickle, turmeric juice during the time of corona pandemic. One acre of turmeric crop earns Rs 4 lakh by spending only Rs 2.45 lakh.

    When it comes to turmeric production by Deveshbhai, four quintals of seeds are used in one acre of land without the use of any chemicals or pesticides, which costs 80 thousand. 

    Adding cost of manure-labor total one lakh seventy four thousand per acre is used and out of which 200 quintals are produced and the current market price is Rs. 2500 per quintal, he gets a income of 6.25 lakhs. In this he earns around four lakhs of profit which gives him the title of best farmer.

    Deveshbhai Patel has been awarded at State, Center as well as Internationally as a successful farmer.  Indian and foreign scientists visited his farm throughout the year. Devesh Patel also proves to be a excellent example by providing guidance to the students studying agriculture at Anand Agriculture University.

    Devesh Patel himself has developed many modern machines to make other products from turmeric and has also provided livelihood to many people. Taking online orders by himself he delivered the products directly to customers and earn a good income from it.
