Considering the Lok Sabha elections 2019, the Election Commission launched an app called the Voter Helpline. If you want to make any improvements to your Voter card or get any information regarding Voter card then you do not have to go the government office.
First of all Download this App in the Google Play store you must first go to the Google Play Store. In Google Play search box you must write “Voter Helpline” and click on the App. Which has to be downloaded then you will get a disclaimer. After accepting, you will be able to use its features.
After installed this Application you have to register your identification. Now with this App you will be able to make a home-based correction in the Voter card. This App will also get information about the previous Lok Sabha elections. Besides, the use of EVM and VVPAT machines will also be known.
You can also apply to register for Voter lists or create a new Voter ID card using the App. Apart from this, there is also an option to check your name in the Voter list. With this App you will be able to make changes while switching to another assembly area.
If any person appears to be violating the Code of Conduct, you can give information to the Election Commission using cVIGIL APP. EC receives information about the complainant’s space using GPS feature and will take action against it within 100 minutes. However, your information will be kept confidential.
