Yami Gautam’s ‘Nai Naveli’ Brings Mythology Meets Horror
Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is set to headline the upcoming mythological horror-comedy Nai Naveli, produced by Aanand L. Rai under Colour Yellow Productions. The film blends ancient Indian folklore with a modern-day setting, where mysterious events unfold after a newlywed bride enters her marital home in Meerut.
Shot secretly for nearly two years and currently being filmed in Mumbai, the project features music by G. V. Prakash Kumar, marking his Hindi debut. Written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, the story balances horror, comedy, and emotional family drama. With a unique concept and strong technical backing, Nai Naveli is expected to release by the end of 2026 and could emerge as a surprise hit, further strengthening Yami’s evolving career ahead of her upcoming projects, including collaborations with Aditya Dhar.
