WR to run special trains between Gandhidham – Nagarcoil and Rajkot – Coimbatore

To meet the travel demand and for the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has decided to run additional special trains between Gandhidham – Nagarcoil and Rajkot – Coimbatore.

According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these special trains are:

1). Train No. 06335 / 06336 Gandhidham – Nagarcoil Weekly Special

Train No 06335 Gandhidham – Nagarcoil Weekly Special will leave Gandhidham every Friday at 10.45 hrs and will reach Nagarcoil at 06.30 hrs on Sunday (third day) starting from 30th April, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No 06336 Nagarcoil – Gandhidham Weekly Special will leave Nagarcoil every Tuesday at 14.45 hrs and will reach Gandhidham at 12.00 hrs on Thursday (third day) starts from 27th April,2021 till further advice.

Enroute the train will halt at Samakhiyali, Viramgam, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Road, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Sawantwadi Road, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Murudeshwar, Byndoor, Kundapura, Udipi, Surathkal, Manglore Jn., Kasaragod, Kannur, Tellicherry, Vadakara, Kozikode, Ferok, Tirur, Kuttipuram, Pattambi, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam, Kollam and Trivandrum stations in both directions.

Train no 06335 will have additional halts at Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannapuram, Quilandi, Parpanagadi and Trivandrum Peta stations while train no 06336 will be provided additional halt at Maninagar station. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

2). Train No. 06613 / 06614 Rajkot – Coimbatore Weekly Special

Train No. 06613 Rajkot – Coimbatore Weekly Special will leave Rajkot every Sunday at 05.30 hrs and will reach Coimbatore at 21.30 hrs on next day starting from 25th April, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 06614 Coimbatore – Rajkot Weekly Special will leave Coimbatore every Friday at 00.15 hrs and will reach Rajkot at 17.50 hrs on next day with effect from 23th April, 2021 till further advice.

Enroute the train will halt at Surendranagar, Viramgam, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Surat, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Road, Kalyan, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburgi, Wadi, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntkal, Gooty, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Tiruppatur, Salem, Erode and Tiruppur stations in both directions. Train number 06613 will have additional halt at Yelhanka station while train number 06614 will be provided additional halt at Boisar and Maninagar stations. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

The booking of Train No. 06335 & 06613 will open on 13th April, 2021 at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC website. Above reserved trains will run as Special trains on special fare.
