WR magazine ‘rail darpan’ wins the prestigious award for best inhouse magazine at the 28th aashirwad awards ceremony

Western Railway magazine ‘rail darpan’ wins the prestigious award for best inhouse magazine at the 28th aashirwad awards ceremony. The country’s premier literary, cultural and social organisation ‘Aashirwad’ held its 28th Annual Rajbhasha Awards Festival where the award was given to the magazine.

In this ceremony, Western Railway was also awarded the first prize for outstanding work in the field of propagation of Rajbhasha. A.K. Gupta – General Manager of Western Railway congratulated Ravinder Bhakar – Chief Public Relations Officer and Editor-in-Chief of ‘Rail Darpan’, his entire team and Dr. Sushil Kumar Sharma – Deputy General Manager (Rajbhasha) and his team for their outstanding work in the field of Rajbhasha.

This prestigious award was received by editor in chief Ravinder Bhakar, Gajanan Mahatpurkar – Senior Executive Editor, Nitin Kumar David, H. Mohta and Sunil Singh – Executive Editors, Anubhav Saxena – Sub-Editor of ‘Rail Darpan’ magazine from the hand of renown litterateur Dr. Suryabala and Vishwanath Sachdev – Former Editor of Navbharat Times.

This popular magazine had also received country’s Best Inhouse Magazine award from Rajbhasha Department of Rajbhasha of Home Ministry, Govt. of India in the year 2011. This prestigious award was received by former General Manager of Western Railway from the hands of President of India. ‘Rail Darpan’ has already achieved more than 50 awards in the last 19 years for its creative excellence. The award for Outstanding Work in the field of Rajbhasha was received by Ashok Kumar Londhe – Senior Hindi Officer and his team.
