In a viral video posted by Afghanistan's Abdulhaq Omeri, a senior journalist, a man with a gun is shown laughing at him, while another is recording his "miserable position."

"Taliban burn musician's musical instrument as local musician weeps. This incident happened in #ZazaiArub District #Paktia Province #Afghanistan," Omeri said in a tweet

Previously, the Taliban had prohibited music from being played in vehicles. Aside from that, the organisation had banned live music at weddings and ordered men and women to celebrate in separate halls, according to an Afghan hotel owner who spoke to Sputnik in October.

Amid the crackdown, the Taliban also ordered the beheading of "mannequins" in clothing stores in Afghanistan's Herat province, according to the Sputnik news agency, citing Afghan media.

The Taliban are cracking down on 'mannequins' used in clothing stores, claiming it is a violation of Sharia law.

On the streets of Kabul, signs of such incidents have begun to reappear. The Taliban's Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice also issued "religious guidelines" calling on Afghan tv channels to stop showing dramas and soap operas showing women.

Experts believe that now the Taliban has recaptured control of Afghanistan after 20 years, Afghan women are most likely to face an uncertain future under the terrorist group's regime.
