Hezbollah war: Over 100 Israeli military vehicles spotted at Lebanese border

Amidst Beirut taking critical damage due

 

the ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, more than 100 IDF vehicles were reportedly found stationed near the Lebanese border. 

Confirming the presence of Israeli military units through sourced satellite imagery, news outlet Al Jazeera said that the vehicles were positioned about three kilometres from the Lebanese border north of occupied Golan Heights.

The area was identified as Kfar Giladi by the media. Although Syrian territory, two-thirds of the Golan Heights was occupied by Israel following the 1967 Six-Day War.

However, there was no information on the objective of these military vehicles as Tel Aviv maintains that only Hezbollah pockets would be targeted in the "ground incursions" in Lebanon.

The satellite images were captured by Airbus, the report said, adding that this was the location used by the IDF to evacuate its personnel in early October during an emergency. 

Meanwhile, Hezbollah claimed to have thwarted another push by the IDF to advance through the town of Yaroun using explosives.

The IDF units suffered casualties in the bomb blast, the Iran-backed militia claimed. Israeli soldiers were also targeted by rockets in the Al-Thaghra area on the outskirts of Odaisseh town, it added.

At least four targeted explosions were executed by its fighters in the last 24 hours in Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun, Hezbollah said.

IDF suffered heavy losses due to these attacks, the militia was quoted as saying by Al Jazeera.
