Bollywood star Fatima Sana Sheikh unveiled the new Forevermark Artemis collection designed by world renown designer Bibhu Mohapatra. The collection is launched inside popular Narayan Jewellers known for their award winning designes at the Red carpet in Oscars.
Inspired by the interstellar theme of sun, moon and stars the collection mixes yellow and white gold to create a classic style statement and is available in earrings, rings, bracelets, pendants and brooches.
Mohapatra said the designes are Vedic scriptures which shows the bonding between the two individuals. “When I was a kid I saw a pouch given to me by my mother which she got from my grand mother. This is what I admire and this line of jewellery is unfolding the same story. The second line will be on women empowerment with new elements and ideas,” said Mohapatra.
He is also working on to revive the local art of Ikat craft in Odisha a popular Saree technique which is dying.
Fatima Sana Sheikh arrived in dazzling red dress appreciating the designs. She said Forevermark represents advancement of women and supports the UN #HeForShe movement, which makes her feel proud to wear this dazzling jewellery. Moreover, the ArtemisTM collection is for the evolved woman who appreciates fine jewellery and makes her to feel confident.
Talking about her films she said to be really proud to work with such stalwarts in her upcoming movie Thugs of Hindostan. She said Amitabh Bachchan is a legend and every time she thought to improve herself to match him. She wants to play strong characters in her movies and looking forward to the release of her film later in the year.
About trolling on social media she avoids such things and move forward after a brief phase. Finally she congratulate all the athletes who performed extremely well in commonwealth games and appreciate the women power in winning medals for India.
