Dr. Vinod Rao, Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary, took special note of the integrated noble work of various teams involved in the management of funerals of the deceased as per the Covid protocol when the cemeteries in the villages had to be closed due to heavy rains on Monday.

He said, I have to heartily appreciate our Team for Management of Crematoriums, Transportation of Dead-bodies and ensuring COVID Death Protocols. In view of heavy rains and cyclonic storm we had temporarily closed COVID Crematoriums in Rural Areas and had brought all dead bodies to the Crematoriums in the City.

The team did an excellent job working round-the-clock and due to perfect coordination there was absolutely no delay or waiting in any Crematoriums. They will be closely monitoring this work till Cyclonic situation improves.

Dr. Rao lauded the work of these teams for performing this difficult and humanitarian work in a timely manner in times of crisis.
