Women get strong portfolios in PM Modi cabinet

On Sunday Prime Minister Narendra Modi cabinet of ministers went for a reshuffle with many ministers portfolios being changed and many new faces were included. The important name is of Nirmala Sitharamam who gets the crucial Defence portfolio.

Since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of India the women get important portfolios in the ministry. From Shushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani and Uma Bharti all head important ministries in the government.

Now after the reshuffle on Sunday another woman Nirmala Sitharamam gets the all important defence portfolio. After the announcement she said she will serve the country with dedication.
