Woman stole gold chain from reputed showroom in Vadodara

A woman, disguised as a customer, stole a gold chain from a jeweller’s shop on Jetalpur Road in Vadodara city. Police began investigating in the matter based in the CCTV footage.

As per details the woman visit the P.N. Gadgil and Sons showroom disguised as a customer. She asked the salesman at the counter to show her the gold chain. The salesman shown gold chains of various designs and the woman continue to saw till her theft intent was fulfilled.

In the meantime the woman took the gold chain after get a chance and left the showroom. The showroom people shocked to learn that the swindler, disguised as a customer, had stolen a 4.600 tola gold chain.

The incident was reported to the Gotri police station and they began investigation after obtained the cctv footage. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case of theft against an unidentified woman.
