Social workers demand compensation and action against the responsible
In a ill-fated incident a woman died at a express highway site after the high-tech crane fell on her. Police reached the spot after the incident and investigating further. Locals and social workers demand compensation for the family or else threaten to agitate.
As per details road work is carried out near the Suncity on Sevasi Bhimpura road where a woman named Manjula Solanki was seriously injured after the high-tech crane fell on her. With grevious injuries she died on the spot and Taluka police along with social workers reached the place after the message.
Deceased son Chetan Solanki put allegations on the crane driver for the incident and demand inquiry against the contractor and officials. Social worker Lakhan Darbar said no safety measure was seen there and no responsible official was present at the spot. They demand for compensation for the family and action against the responsible.
Another social worker Abdul Patel said the negligence in driving the crane cost the women her life and demand compensation for the family. They threaten to stop all the work and start agitation if their demands are not resolved by the officials.
