With cracks in ceiling Vadodara railway station underpass gives motorists serious danger to life

The underpass near railway station connecting the eastern and western parts of Vadodara city is waiting for the accident to happen. The slab developed cracks and the beautified ceiling hanging above giving motorists a serious danger while passing from there.

The heavily used underpass was recently beautified by the corporation with public participation. Led lights, big signboards and fibre sheets on ceiling gives a modern look to the area and a glimpse of smart city project.

However, the beautification is now things of past as the upper slab developed cracks and the fibre sheets are hanging above giving the motorists a serious danger. As this underpass is heavily used during the day, the broken ceiling need to be repaired soon before any serious incident.
