Wheels of container derailed at platform 1 in Vadodara

Traffic resumed after the wheels put on track by the rescue team

Train traffic was disrupted briefly after wheels of a container derailed at platform 1 of Vadodara railway station on Monday. One train was diverted due to the incident as rescue efforts underway at the station to clear the track. The railway teams later put to wheels on place and makes the line open for the train movement.

As per details the two wheels of 11th number container of the Mumbai bound train derailed at the busy line of Vadodara railway station. The train was heading towards Jawaharlal Port in Mumbai and the container derailed at platform 1 of the station.

Top officials along with staff rushed to the spot to clear the track and open the platform after put wheels in place on track. Meanwhile Jamnagar Surat train was diverted through platform 3 due to the incident.
