Water reached the entrance of police station

The flood water of Narmada river passing from near Vadodara reached main entrance of famous Kuber Bhandari temple at Karnali village and also reached the police station. In the same way, the water has reached the temple of Ansoya Mata situated on the banks of river Narmada.

The Kuberbhandari temple at Karnali village and temple of Ansoya Mata near Ambali village is situated on the banks of Narmada river. Due to flooding the water from the river entered inside both the temples and presently witness knee deep level. The villagers flocked to see the Narmada water reaching the temple. Panic also spread among people as the water reached the main entrance of the Kuberbhandari temple in Karnali and reached the police station.

For the first time in the current monsoon season, the water level rises in Narmada River and administration blow siren to warn people. The rising water level in the river created concern for the people of 25 villages in Dabhoi, Karjan and Shinor talukas.

Administration already started evacuating people living alongside the river to safer places. Resident Additional Collector D.R. Patel said, knee-deep water has flooded around the ashram in Sayar village and 14 people are shifted to safer place.
