VUDA (Vadodara Urban Development Authority) proposed to built 65 km ring road of 75mts in coming years passing from various areas of the city. A meeting was held in the office on Thursday where 354.51crore budget of 2019- 20 was passed unanimously.

Municipal Commissioner Ajay Bhadoo said VUDA will built 65km road of 75mts passing from areas of Varnama, Sunderpura, Ratanpur, Sayajipura, Ajod, Ranoli, Dhanora, Sevasi, Ankodia, Khanpur, Bhayli, Samiyala and Chapad villages. The proposition is also to make a convention centre on 118acre of land by VUDA. Both the projects will take around three years time and will be started from this year.

VUDA chairman said the 601 hectares of land at Bhayli, Mahapura, Gokulpura, Sevasi, Khanpur and Ankodia is declared as TP scheme 24 A and 624 hectares as TP scheme 24 B. While 192 hectares lands in Koyli declared as TP scheme 42 and 164 hectares in Undera and Ankodia as TP scheme 43.

The six villages are also included officially inside the VMC limits in the meeting. 44crore is proposed in the budget for storm water drains, lakes, gardens, solid waste management, ring road and convention centre in VUDA limits. 10 e rickshaws will operate in VUDA limits for solid waste management and 11 villages from Western part will be getting 20MLD water through Sindhrot water supply scheme.
