Volunteers of Wildlife SOS, GSPCA and forest department in joint operation caught a five feet long crocodile from a pond at Ganpatpura village near Vadodara.

A rescue call was received at the helpline number of Wildlife SOS and GSPCA on 27th April afternoon about a crocodile present at village pond in Ganpatpura. The sarpanch of the village called and informed about the crocodile attacked the animals and killed one goat and injured a dog.

Based on that the volunteers reached the spot and placed a cage with the help of forest department near the small pond to catch the crocodile without any harm. On Friday the crocodile size around 5 feet was trapped inside the the cage and handover it to the forest department. The villagers thanked them for their fast action.
