6BN NDRF also on alert and ready to move in view of the cyclone
Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan is all alert in view of the cyclonic storm ‘Maha’ making landfall on Gujarat coast. A meeting was held in the morning to discuss the precautions to be taken by the administration. On the other side the 6BN NDRF is also on alert and ready to move in view of the cyclone.
The cyclonic storm is heading towards Gujarat coast and believes to be hit around Saurashtra and South Gujarat. The met department also predict about the effect on central Gujarat and in view of that advisory is issued to the administration to be on alert.
Under the leadership of mayor Dr. Jigishaben Sheth a meeting was held at the corporation attended by Municipal commissioner Nalin Upadhyay, Deputy Municipal Commissioner S.K. Patel, Deputy Mayor Dr. Jivraj Chauhan and other officials to discuss the precautionary measures to be taken.
On the other side 6BN NDRF is on alert and ready to move in view of the cyclonic storm. As per 6BN PRO Deputy Commandant R.K. Mishra, total 15 teams are are on alert and in 6BN at Jarod a training was given about how to take action in cyclonic situation. The whole session was under the supervision of Commandant R.S. Joon.
