VMSS health department team on Tuesday raided sweet and farsan shops in various areas of Vadodara city. The teams raid the shops in Waghodia road, Fatehgunj, Nizampura and Karelibaug areas and destroyed 150kgs of recycling oil, raw materials and uneatable products.

VMSS health department team is taking strict measures in view of various diseases and starting home to home survey about the same. The teams also guide the people for maintaining proper hygiene and also give medicines to the ill ones.

On the other side the teams of food Inspectors raided the sweet and farsan shops in Waghodia road, Fatehgunj, Nizampura and Karelibaug areas and checked inside 25 shops about the food items they provide to the customers. The teams checked and found stale Jalebi, Peda, Barfi, Kaju Draksh and destroyed them along with the recycling oil about 150 kgs.

Food Inspector Ankur Bhai who raid in shops of Fatehgunj and Nizampura said that they seized about 70 kgs of stale food items along with the recycling oil and destroyed them at the spot. They also served notices to two establishments under schedule 4 of the food safety act.

Food Inspectors Vipul Rana starts checking in Waghodia road and Jitendra Gohil in Karelibaug to check the quality I f the food items serving from there. They destroyed the stale items on the spot and also taking the samples of items for lab testing.
