VMSS health department checking continues in Vadodara

VMSS health department team continues their checking on the make shift juice stalls and destroyed rotten mangoes and other things on the spot. The team destroyed 250 kgs of juice, 150 kgs of rotten mangoes and 50 ltr of liquid sugar on the spot after raid at the stalls.

Every year the makeshift stalls coming up in various areas of Vadodara city selling juice and other things to the people. The stall owners are openly selling the rotten mango juice to the people putting their lives in danger. To check such sellers the VMSS health department on Wednesday raid on such stalls and found health hazardous items from there.

On Wednesday the team of food inspector Jitendra Gohil checked 14 such stalls in Akota, Parshuram Bhatta, Harinagar, Gotri, Vasna road areas and found health hazardous items from there. The team destroyed 120kg of mangoes and 80ltr of juice on the spot.

The other team headed by food inspector Prashant Bhavsar checked the juice stalls, sugarcane juice centers and watermelon sellers in Manjalpur, Maneja village, Tarsali and Makarpura areas. During check they found health hazardous items and destroyed 35kg of rotten mangoes, 150kg juice and liquid sugar at the spot.

After the intensive checking by the teams the stalls are selling such juice openly in makeshift stalls scattered all over the city.
