    In view of the upcoming Diwali festival the VMSS health department conducted checking at the bakeries and sweet shops in various areas of the city.

    During the checking Gandhi Bakery at Sardar Estate was given notice for not maintaining cleanliness. The teams took samples from other bakeries and sweet shops for checking.

    On Wednesday the health department conducted checking in bakeries like Gandhi Bakery at Sardar Estate, Bholenath Bakery at Navidharti Ranawas and sweets shops like Shikarpuri sweets and Sai Sweets Mart at Warasiya area of the city. The teams checked the hygiene and cleanliness inside the bakery and shops and also the quality of the materials. Later they took samples for checking from the shops and bakeries.

    According to the health department team the Gandhi Bakery was served notice for not maintaining the hygiene and also took samples from there and other bakeries and sweet shops. The samples will be sent for further analysis and action will be taken after the reports.
