Took samples of cakes, pastries and other items from the outlets

Ahead of Christmas festival, Vadodara Mahanagar Seva Sadan health department conduct checking at various outlets and bakeries. The teams took samples of cakes, pastries and other items from the outlets and also serve notices to the ones not maintaining hygiene at the place.

On Tuesday the teams conducted checking at outlets situated in different parts of the city and collect 19 samples of cakes and pastries for laboratory testing. During Christmas cakes and pastries are in great demand and the teams checked the raw materials used to make the delicacies.

The teams checked the bakeries at Sayajigunj, Jetalpur road, Akota, Fatehgunj, Manjalpur, Chhani areas and took samples of different varieties of cakes and pastries along with Masti Dahi and chilly powder. They also issued schedule 4 notices to the ones not maintaining hygiene at work place.
