VMSS anti encroachment team demolished illegal construction on Navayard road

Vadodara
Mahanagar Seva Sadan anti encroachment team demolished illegal construction and
other establishments on Navayard road in the city. Strict police bandobast was
also kept there to avoid any untoward incident during the drive.

Continuing
their drive against illegal construction VMSS team remove illegal encroachments
on Navayard road. The drive was conducted after the notice period ends given to
the people.

Many of the
people constructed three floor houses illegally and the VMSS team has to use
JCB to remove the structure. Many of the people remove the encroachments on
their own and moved their things to safer places. Vehicular movement on the
road was also closed for some time during the drive.

As per
encroachment officer Mangesh Jaiswal, the team removed 55 illegal encroachments
comes on the road line on Shastri Bridge Chaani circle comes under Ward 7. 20
breakers, dumpers, JCB and other equipments are used in the demolition drive
and continues till late night on next day if needed.
