VMC meeting held at Gandhinagar Gruh instead of Corporation meeting room

For the first time in the history of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, the meeting was held at the Gandhinagar Gruh instead of the corporation's meeting room. The decision was taken in view of the outbreak of the corona virus.

It is necessary to maintain social distance as per the guidelines of Covid-19. But it was not possible to maintain social distance in the meeting room of the corporation. So it was decided to change the place of the meeting. All the councilors, including the chairperson, were present in masks at the general meeting held at Gandhinagar Gruh.

Sanitisers was also arranged for the councilors present at the meeting. The place was visited by the police as well as the officials of the corporation a day before for the final check. Police deployment were made to prevent any untoward incident during the meeting.
