VMC health department teams conduct checking at various areas in the city
Collected around 23 samples of food items for laboratory testing.
The festival of colour is just a couple of days away and people are already stocking up the food items to enjoy the day with their family and friends. However they don't aware about the quality of the food items and risk their health. To check such adulteration the VMC health teams started their checking much before the festival and make sure the people get good quality of items.
Starting from 7th March to 18th March the teams covered Wadi, kumbharwada and near Ganpati temple, Gomtipura, Makarpura, Nizampura, Dandia bazaar, Fategunj, Amitnagar, Manjalpur, Tarsali, Harni road, New Vip road, ST depo Area, Gendigate and Hathikhana. They collect 23 Samples of Dates loose- 4 samples, Harda loose, Dates (Royal crown co), Khari Sing, Haldar Chana, Nariyal Patni Sing, kala jam(sweet), Dates ( Kimia co pack), Ghee(loose), Mix pickle, Dalmooth Farsan, Prepared food (paneer makkhanwala), dates(Khalifa Co pack), dates (Saras co pack), dates(444 wet co pack), Madhur selected khajoor co pack, patasa (loose), Al Hayat dates co pack and omarry dates(Al fruit) Co pack from different areas.
On Tuesday two teams checked Waghodia road, Wadi, Chowkandi, City Area, Ajwa road, Warasiya, Panigate, Harni road. They inspect the premises, issue notice and collect samples. The drive will continue till Holi.
