Shops and business establishments in Vadodara started from Tuesday after a 55 days lockdown. Sweet and farsan shops are also opened after the relaxation and selling items to people. However the health department of VMC swung into action to check if the shops are selling old items. The team also destroyed items after found the shops selling the old stock to the customers.

The health teams issues advisory to the shops for not selling the old items after opening 55 days into lockdown. The food teams on Wednesday visited shops at various places to check if the shop owners are selling old items to the customers.

Health officer Jitendra Gohil and his team found many shop owners selling old items and they destroyed items like gardan, sweets at the spot. The team conduct checking at various shops in view of the people health.
