VMC health department checking for implementation of Covid 19 guidelines

The Health Department of Vadodara Municipal Corporation conducted a surprise check of Restaurants, Hotels, Lari, Gallas and destroyed 22 kgs of inedible quantity of food items. The checking was the part of implementation of COVID-19 guideline in various areas of the city from 21st to 26th.

As corona cases have been on the rise in Vadodara for the past few days and the state government has asked for special vigilance on food items. As per the instructions strict implementation of covid-19 guideline is also there to maintain health in view of corona pandemic.

Following the instructions of the state government, different teams of inspectors of the health department of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation were formed. From 21 to 26 November they checked hotels, restaurants, Laari and gallas at different of the city and at some places they found that inferior quality goods were being sold.
With this in mind, 22 kg of inedible items were immediately noted on the spot and all hotel, restaurant and lari galla operators were instructed to strictly implement the guideline of covid-19.
