Villagers of Bhayli caught delivering liquor to Zilla Panchayat Member

Villagers of Bhayli village in Vadodara caught younger brother of Zilla Panchayat Member for delivery of liquor. The police registered the case against unknown persons which irate the villagers as they shot the video of the accused which went viral on the social media. The villagers now plan to give a memorandum to the Collector in this regard.

Gordhan Patanwadia is the elected BJP member in the Zilla Panchayat and his younger brother Arvind alias Kabo Patanwadia was accused of delivering liquor to the customers. The villagers of Bhayli caught him on 15th January when be was going to deliver the liquor to a marriage party in Borsad. The villagers then shot a video of the whole thing as an evidence and informed the police.

The police registered the matter against unknown persons but the villagers said that they have all the evidence against the accused and instead police registered the case against unknown persons.

“We caught Arvind who is the brother of the Zilla Panchayat Member Gordhan Patanwadia and involved in liquor business. We caught him red handed and recovered the bottles and also shoot a video for proof and called the police. But they regiatered the complaint against unknown persons inspite of we are having the proof. Now we will give a memorandum to the Collector and demand strict action against the culprits,” said Vijay Patel villager Bhayli village.
