The ‘Vikram’ lander successfully separated from the Chandrayaan-2 mass orbiter on Monday 2 September(Today) taking India closer to the first moon landing.

All spacecraft parameters are normal, Bengaluru headquartered space agency said after Sunday’s man oeuvre on the spacecraft, that is currently in the lunar orbit for its rendezvous with the Moon.
