A two day workshop by the Corporate Vigilance Department of the Airports
Authority of India (AAI) was organized at Vadodara Airport. The participants
included officials working in western region airports of AAI.
The workshop was inaugurated by S. N Borkar, Executive Director
Vigilance AAI. He emphasized on the need and importance of vigilance in the
present scenario for effective and efficient functioning of the
organization.
Speaking on the occasion G. Chandramouli, RED WR sensitized participants
to be more active and vigilant to dlscourage litigations and execute flawless
tenders.
Charan Singh, Airport Director, Vadodara Airport welcomed all the
participants and thanked the AAI management for granting Vadodara Airport the
opportunity to host the workshop. He highlighted need of preventive vigilance
in day to day working which will reduce the punitive vigilance cases.
He motivated all participants to share their ideas, suggestions and get
their doubts clarified to enhance effectiveness of functioning in AAI and in
order to make further progress and provide world class facilities to passengers
at AAI managed airports.
Erudite Speakers from different departments of AAI made presentations on
different subjects. The workshop will aid in augmenting the knowledge base of
the participants and help in decreasing litigation/complaints.
