Police arrested 13 after investigation

Vadodara Sayajiganj police arrested 13 persons from Akota Maharaja Nagar for violation of government notification. They are accused of celebrating a birthday by cutting a cake with a sword on Tuesday night.

A video of the incident went viral on social media on Janmashtami day where the youngsters were seen celebrating the birthday by cutting a cake with a sword. Taking the note of the video, Sayajiganj police started investigating about the viral video and found the scene was near Maharajnagar under Akota Bridge.

Sayajiganj police had registered a case after getting the information of the youths seen in the video. They arrested 13 under various sections of IPC.
