Felicitation of ex-Army officials, Airforce officers, police inspectors and families of martyrs will be felicitated by common people added attraction

Vadodara will indulge in the colours of patriotism on Sunday as a Victory is going to be held in the city to honour the armed forces. Chhatra Sansad along with Vadodara Police and Round Table India have joined hands to pay tribute to the soldiers on 16th December Vijay Diwas.

3rd year in succession the youths organise the Victory Ride on Vijay Diwas the day of victory of the Indian Armed Forces over the Pakistan Army in the war of 1971. This year ride will be a long one involving super bikes carrying National Flag as a major attraction in the ride.

“This year Victory Ride is a 25 km ride starting from Akota Bridge and ending at the ground behind Akota D-Mart, where all the ex-Army officials, Airforce officers, police inspectors and families of martyrs will be felicitated by common people. Along with 22 super bike groups from Vadodara, Surat, Ahmedabad and Bharuch more than 2000 people between the ages of 18 30 have registered with us and will join this ride of super bikes and cars to spread the message of patriotism and to salute the martyrs of the war,” said Kunal Sharma Founder President Chhatra Sansad.

The ride will move through various parts of the city to spread the message of patriotism among people and pay tribute to the forces. 15 girls will also join the ride to spread a positive message in the society about gender equality. The ride will have around 1000 super bikes, 1500 bullet, ktm and other bikes, 80 cars, 50 jeeps, 5 horses, police band, supercop bikes and other attractions.

“Vadodara Police and Round Table India are supporting this noble cause of paying respect to martyrs, soldiers and brave policemen who are tirelessly protecting the country. Vadodara Police have emphasised the importance of helmets and made them mandatory. Any rider without a helmet wont be allowed to join the ride,” add Kunal Sharma.
