Delhi Archbishop issued a notification to the Christian community in India about observing one day fast and prayer. The notification received the protest of VHP and they termed the desicion as a pre preparation for the 2019 elections. The international President of the VHP Alok Kumar protest the notification and demand to cancel it immediately.

Delhi Archbishop recently released a notification to all the Christian community in India about observing one day fast and prayer received the protest of VHP and they termed the desicion as a pre preparation for the 2019 elections. The international President of the VHP Alok Kumar on the way to Godhra for a programme halt at Vadodara and pit forward his views.

He said the Archbishop don’t have any right to issue such a notification about observing one day fast and prayer. He is free to do whatever he wants to do in his country but not here and they protest such a decision which puts the democracy in danger.

He further said that the Christians openly spread and make their vote bank just like the Muslims and Hindus who make their vote banks. The issue is serious and the people and government has to aware about the scenario.

The notification is what they strongly protest and the VHP don’t accept it. On Ram Mandir he said the hearing is on and they are hopeful for a result till September 2018 later this year. He also said the construction will start at the end of this year.

On his maiden visit to Vadodara the VHP International President received a warm welcome and later he went to Godhra for the programme.
