Veteran Congress leader Ahmed Patel passed away

Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ahmed Patel passed away at the age of 71. He was under treatment for Corona complications at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram and died early this morning. PM Narendra Modi and many other leaders mourn his death and send their condolences to the family.

Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ahmed Patel died early this morning while undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. His son Faisal tweet and announced the death of his father. He also request people to follow Covid guidelines for their safety.

There is a sense of mourning across the country over the demise of Ahmed Patel.
Expressing grief over the demise of Ahmed Patel, PM Modi wrote on Twitter that Ahmed Patel was a leader with a sharp mind and his role in strengthening the Congress would always be remembered. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have expressed grief over the demise of Ahmed Patel. Patel was also a political advisor of Sonia Gandhi.

Rajiv Satav, Digvijay Singh, Arjun Modhwadia, Paresh Dhanani, Hardik Patel have also expressed their grief. Expressing grief over the demise of Ahmed Patel, Hardik Patel said that he was a mentor to young leaders like us. Ahmed Patel has worked hard till the last moment to strengthen the Congress party.
