Vehicles and cabins damaged in wall collapse at corporation vehicle pool in Vadodara

Five vehicles and three cabins were damaged when a 20- to 30-foot-long wall of Vehicle Pool of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation collapsed in Bhutdizapa area of ​​Vadodara city. Fire brigade reached the spot and began rescue efforts.

While the Vadodara Municipal Corporation issued instructs to the landlords to demolish the old dilapidated houses, on the other hand no action is taken by them even though some parts of the houses and departments owned by the corporation are dilapidated.

In one such incident a 20 to 30 foot long and 7-foot-high wall of the corporation vehicle pool section at Bhutdizapa suddenly collapsed on Monday. Fortunately no casualties were reported but five vehicles, including two rickshaws, and three cabins were damaged.

The incident was reported to the fire brigade and they rushed to the spot and immediately cut off the power connection. Later they took out the vehicles which were damaged due to the broken wall.
