Accused the police for intervene unnecessarily in their work

In a major jolt to the people of Vadodara, the vegetable vendors closed down their door to door services in the city from Sunday. They accused the police for intervene unnecessarily in their work and with no option left they decide to close down the services until any positive solution of the problem.

In order to provide fresh vegetables to people at their doorstep the Vadodara district administration makes arrangements in association with APMC and VMSS. starting from Friday. Around 24 tractors everyfay reaches the societies in each ward of the city and provide fresh vegetables to the residents observing the lockdown.

However on Sunday the vegetable vendors close down their services accusing the police for intervene in their work unnecessarily. One of the vendor Dakshesh Patel said, they have the licence given by the VMSS to deliver vegetables in the societies but the police are not listening to them. They also maintained the social distance while selling the vegetables but the police troubled them. Hence they decide to close down the services until a positive solution comes in the matter.

The angry vendors gathered at the Sayajipura APMC market and decided not to visit any societies. With this the people now have to face one more problem in this time of lockdown.
