Amrit Mahotsav of 75 years of Independence is celebrating all across the country. On this occasion a Freedom March started on 12 March from Sabarmati and will be completed on April 5 in Dandi.
In view of this festival, Vadodara division of Western Railway also participated in the event shown live through TV screens at Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Bharuch and Nadiad stations.
Film on Mahatma Gandhi is being shown at the Digital Museum of Vadodara station. Banners of Gandhiji’s Dandi March were also put up at various stations of the Mandal.
On March 15, the Freedom March took place in the presence of the RPF bandobast from LC Gate 4 of the Nadiad-Sojitra Narrow gauge line of Vadodara division.
