Various events organised on second day of Kaafila 2020
New Update

The second
day of Kaafila 2020 started with ‘Kaafila Tasveeron ka’ (Photography walk),
conducted by Jay Makwana. There were more than 35 participants covered many
spots inside the MSU Campus to show their creativity.

The places
covered by the participants are, Bhuki nala, Science faculty, English
department, Fine arts faculty, Archeology department, fine arts faculty,
Botanic garden, Premanand hall, Hansa Mehta library, Experiment school, C.C
Mehta Auditorium, Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya and D.N Hall.

The photos took by the particpants were displayed in the Faculty of Journalism and Communication. The decision will be based 40% on the votes given by the people and 60% by the judges.

In the next
event, “Kaisi Paheli hai ye??” (treasure hunt), 11 Teams participated
where 2 teams dropped out because they couldn’t figure out the clues. The
winning team is from the faculty of Commerce, M.S. University.

The third
event was “Sangraam Vichaaron ka” (debate) where 14 people
participated from Parul University and different faculties of MSU.  The topic was ‘Science and spirituality can
co-exist?’. 7 participants were for the motion and 7 were against the motion.
The judge was a delegate  from Ram
Krishna Mission and he gave a speech at the end about A.P.J Abdul Kalam and
Swami Vivekananda.

After that
was “kaun banega Radio jockey” (RJ war). There were 8 participants
from various faculties of MSU and even from Parul University. RJ Virat and Atiq
Khan from radio city were the judges. There were 3 rounds where in the first
round the participants were given a topic: “The trend of biopics in
Bollywood”, 10 mins prior and they had to perform a set on the stage like
a RJ. Top 5 participants were shortlisted who were to switch their sets from
making helmets voluntary or mandatory. Top 3 participants were filtered for
this round and they were to continue the set RJ Virat started.

The next
event was “Suroon ka Karavan” (Singing competition) where 28 students
from different faculties of MSU and Parul university participated in the
competition. The event was judged by Jignashu Pandya.
