A youth from Gotri village in Vadodara died of dengue early morning on Saturday. He was sick for last one week and admitted in a private hospital at Elora park area for treatment.
As per details Kaushal Patel 31 resident of Nani Khadki Patel falia was down with fever and instead of taking medicines from local doctor the condition didn’t improved. He was then admitted in a private hospital at Elora park where his report comes as dengue positive after the blood test.
He was under intense treatment inside the hospital but died as the fever not improved from the body. The shocked family show their ire against the local administration and accused them of failed in cleanliness of the city.
Brother of the deceased Darshit Patel said the village is getting polluted water for long and inspite of many representations to the administration the situation remains the same. Drainage water is released inside the lake which leads to breeding of mosquitoes and the situation still the same after informed the matter to the officials.
Kaushik Patel worked as supervisor at construction site at Bhayli and has a three year old son. The whole family is in shock from his death. The cases of dengue this year is on rise in comparison to last year, but the corporation health department claimed about less cases of dengue this year. The administration must take strict steps to stop the rising cases of dengue.
