Vadodara Warasia police arrested 18 people of violation of covid guidelines

Vadodara Warasia police have arrested 18 persons for violating the guidelines of covid 19, who had gathered for a religious ceremony at the Jogani Mata temple in Bharwad Vaas in Sanjay Nagar area of the city.

As per the information received from Warasia police station, Bababhai Manilal Devipujak worship Jogani Mata temple situated in Sanjaynagar Bharwad Vaas.
He and the people of his society make a special puja in the month of Chaitri according to the custom. With two days left in the month of Chaitri, the people of the society had gathered and were discussing for a ritual.

At that time Jesingbhai Bharwad and his brother Dayabhai Bharwad had arrived at Mataji's temple and said about lot of trouble in their house and asked him about some solution. The Bhuva tells them to perform a special ritual on the 8th day of Chaitri and their problem will be removed. The Bharwad brothers told him to finish the Mataji's ritual and they will pay the cost.

According to the Bharwad brothers, Bababhai Devipujak had planned for Mataji's ritual early this morning and told people of the society to attend the ceremony. Devotees from the community were also reached after invited to attend Mataji's religious function.

Meanwhile, Warasia police team reached the spot after the information and arrested 18 people, including Bhuva, who were present at the ceremony without wearing a mask and violating social distancing. This created a lot of controversy in the area.
